Chef Praveen Singh
Born in the year 1986 in north India, a
passionate and creative young chef named
Praveen Singh began nurturing his affection
for cooking from a young age, which led him to
managing specialty restaurants.
In the fifteen years of his journey in culinary,
he has grasped a deep understanding of
North-West Frontier, Punjabi, Awadhi, Dakshin,
Italian, European and Goan cuisines, as well as
specialised Arabic curries and kebabs.
He opened the first Signature by Sanjeev
Kapoor restaurant as Head Chef, and is
currently working as Executive Sous Chef with
The Canvas Hotel MGallery Hotel Collection in
Bur Dubai under ACCOR group. Chef Praveen
has also introduced Estrella’s Rooftop Lounge,
which offers guests great views of Sheikh Zayed
Road and the Dubai skyline.
During his career, he has established new
ideas in serving food with traditional yet in
a modern way. As a big believer in guest
satisfaction, he sought to implement new
brunch concepts, theme nights, modern outdoor
catering, creative menus, banquet functions with
a touch of molecular gastronomy, to surprise the
guests with the combination of flame and fog.
Chef Praveen believes that a surprise should
come along with every dish that comes out
of the kitchen to visually entertain the guest.
This is reinforced by chef’s three passions:
international food knowledge, guest satisfaction
and travelling.
