Data Centre Build

Data Centres in the Middle East are set for a period of steady growth in new space and revenues according to research. Modern data centres need to support new holistic requirements with infrastructure convergence, optimisation and automation, while saving energy and costs.

Virtualisation stands out as the technology which makes it possible to manage the pace of infrastructure change, providing increased control over user experience, better security and business continuity as well as improving software deployment and update.

In June CPI will host the second annual Data Centre Build, following on from the massive success of the inaugural event in 2013. DCB14 will take the format of three conferences in one week designed to educate delegates in all aspects of data centre strategy.

Key topics will include:

  •  Design, Build and Operation of the data centre, from selecting the site, engineering and design to power availability and full data centre automation.
  •  Outsourcing decisions, from collocation to Platform-as-a-Service, from Software-as-a-Service, to building your data centre in the cloud.
  •  IT Optimisations, insight on how IT needs drive data centre strategy and how that impacts infrastructure requirements
